    3. Interesting!! Do you know the parents of John Bond born circa 1795-96 TN------married Sarah (Sally) Casselman/Castleman 30 Aug 1830 in Davidson County, TN? She was daughter of Benjamin and Amelia (?) Casselman/Castleman of Davidson County, TN. John died circa 1832-33. The inventory of his property was recorded 24 Jan 1833---as deceased. I found this recorded in the court records in the Archives in Nashville, Tn. Can anyone help me with his ancesters? Davis died of his wounds on the way home. These were the only men lost by Sevier on the expedition." Genie, I've read about the Watauga Settlement, too. I'll look through my records. It seems like it was part of the State of Franklin and John Sevier was involved. Will let you know. Karen
