The only other information I have on John Bond is that he and Mary (Sale) Bond had a daughter, Mary Bond ca 1848. Mary Bond was the widow of James Adkins and died May 4, 1941 in Eagle Hill neighborhood (KY?). Her obit listed Allen Bond of Centralia, Illinois; Jess Bond of Danville, Illinois, and Dow Bond of Eagle Hill neighborhood; as half-brothers and a Mrs. Nora Gilbert, half-sister of Owenton (Owen County), IL. BOND, born 8 Jan 1866 in Owen County, KY., married Elsie Alice Winegarner on July 25, 1900. There were four children: 1. Goldia (1904-1972) married James Karl Tefertillar and were later divorced. They had one son, Robert Lee Tefertillar. 2. Harold L. Bond (1907-1987) married Alfreda Puffer. Had one daughter, Darda Kay. 3. Theodore R. Bond (1909-1975) married Dorothy Irene Richards. They had three daughters - Patsy Bond Phelps, Rebecca Jean Bond Bassen, and Jana Bond Hill. 4. Elsie M. (born 1912---) married Alva Charles Thompson. Had one son, Alvin Alvin Thompson.
