Hi! cousins, you all make me so envious knowing about family all the way back to the 1700's. I only know back to my grandfather who's name was Stephen Bond born in Pleasant Hills Ohio on 9-10-1888. He married Nancy Emmaline McClutchie. I can't find anything out from family, because they are gone and I can't travel very far so I can only look on the net. I'll keep watching for a link. Sandra (Bond) Long
Hi, There has been so much going on from other Bond family members, I thought maybe someone out there could help me with my dilemma. My standstill on the Bond line is a John Bond married to a Ruth Calvert. I believe This John Bond was born in Lancashire, England. His son, James was born 25th August 1830 in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. I have no Birthdate, Place of birth or Death date or Burial Place for John. Like I said, my standstill. John supposedly died in England. Ruth, his wife came to America and later married a man named Brower. My question is, does anyone out there have anything in their records or research indicating This John Bond? Thanks for your help. Delos Bond

I am trying to find out what happened to CHARITY BOND. She was a daughter of Joseph Ballenger & Jennie, born 6 Mar 1792 GA? Her Dad died 1852 Hall Co GA. Charity married Benjamin LOWERY 1815 in Franklin Co GA. They moved to MS where Ben died 1840/1841. She supposedly went back to GA, may have married a Hamilton Moore. There is a Charity Moore 1850 in Houston Co GA but been unable to find anything about her there. She had 7 boys & girls, only known are Benjamin H, Jane, Emaline & William Chappell, these stayed in MS & were the younger kids of the family. Peg in LA
I would like info on the Bond association also. My Parents were Joseph Bond and Betty Louise Freeland. Thanks Sandra (Bond) Long
Would one of your BONDS possibly be a Mary Frances/Mollie Bonds??? I have been searching for my paternal grandmother for some time now with no luck. She was married to a Hugh Watson NICHOLS and they were living in Ozark, Franklin Co., AR when my father, Vard Rollin NICHOLS, was born February 14, 1887. I do not have any b.date or b.place info on her. Let me know if there is a connection...PLEASE! Hi Becky, Here is one BOND group www.angelfire.com/ms/BondReunion Shirley RRamsey113 wrote: > I would like to know how to get in touch with the BOND Family Association. I > didn't know that one existed. Could you provide me with their address or URL? > > Becky
The BOND family association is the one that Julie so nicely mentioned in her forward of the old post by Glen. Andrew Bond
Good luck on your BOND search. I have been searching for Mary Frances (Mollie) BOND for a long time. She was my paternal grandmother and my BRICK WALL. I know she was living in Ozark, Franklin Co. AR in 1887 with her husband, Hugh Watson NICHOLS, because thats when & where my father was born, but other than that, I can find nothing. She must have existed. Her name is on the copy of my fathers birth certificate, and he was alive....because I exist.....but where she came from, I have no idea, nor even how old she was when Dad was born. I do know she died at the age of 54 because my father told me so when I was a child. I don't know where to turn to next. <mailto:ginny.manning@worldnet.att.net> -----Original Message----- From: Hawkholt <Hawkholt@aol.com> To: BOND-L@rootsweb.com <BOND-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Tuesday, May 26, 1998 10:11 PM Subject: Re: Amanda Catherine Bond and John Bond of England >My Bond family were here as early as 1728 and I have not run across either of >these families. My paternal grandmother was Mary Frances (Mollie) Bond (Bonds?) and was married to Hugh Watson Nichols b. 1851 AR. Do not have any birth info on Mary Frances and would sure like to find out something about her. They had 8 children that I know of, one of whom, Vard Rollin Nichols, b. February 14, 1887 in Ozark, Franklin Co. AR, was my father. If you know of anything would appreciate hearing from you. Will save your inquiry also. My Bond family were here as early as 1728 and I have not run across either of these families. I have not made it across the sea yet. However, I will prossibly be in Butler County, PA later this summer and will see what I can find on Amanda Catherine Bond. My husband's family has some members who were in Butler County early on and we hope to go back there for research. Thanks for the tip on the New Mexico families.
