I have not found a Bond married into the Boone line as of yet. My husband is of the Boone line and I research the Bond line. Below are the Children of Squire Boone, father of Daniel Boone. He married Sarah Morgan September 23, 1720 in Gwyned Monthly Meeting, Berks Co., Pennsylvania, daughter of Edward Morgan. Children of Squire Sr. and Sarah Morgan are: 2 i. He married Mary Carter. 6 v. Elizabeth Boone, born December 05, 1732; died February 25, 1814. She married William Grant. + 7 vi. Edward Boone, born November 19, 1740 in Pennsylvania; died October 06, 1780 in Kentucky. He married Martha Bryan. 11 x. Nathaniel Boone, born Abt. 1742. 12 xi. Squire Boone, born October 05, 1744 in Pennsylvania; died August 1815. + 13 xii. Hannah Boone, born August 24, 1746; died April 09, 1828.
I believe it was Squire Boone who was married to a Bond. You can do a search for Daniel and find several sites with his complete genealogy on the web. -----Original Message----- From: Tschudi2@aol.com <Tschudi2@aol.com> To: BOND-L@rootsweb.com <BOND-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Friday, December 11, 1998 10:51 AM Subject: Old Daniel >I thought Daniel Boone was married to Rebecca Bryan (or Bryant). I believe it was one of Daniel's brothers who married a Bond. I probably have the reference somewhere. Will look over Christmas. Genie Holt

I though Daniel Boone married a Bond. Did he have more than one wife?? He was in McMinn Co. Tn. as was my ggrandfather, John Christopher Bond. I understand that Daniel lead the migration from McMinn Co. To Greene Co. Mo in the early 1850. That is how my Bonds ended up in Mo. If someone can shead some light on this subject, I would really appreciate. Sincerely and a very Merry Holiday to all Herbert Jones
as daniel boone died in 1820 he couldnt have done anything in 1850.
I thought he was married to Polly. Havent read about him in a long time, since grade school.

Hi to all Bonds Can anyone tell me which Bond married Daniel Boone? Thanks to all and Happy Holidays Herbert Jones
I agree with you, Judy. I just might miss something and it doesn't take a minute to find out if it is of interest. So, why not?! Bob

Absolutely! Could you repeat this. We need a time period and area of interest. Also, why must a person answer on Roots and not to the individual concerned. Many answers make no sense. Hi - I'm looking for information about the following BONDs who were living in Saugerties, NY with other family members at the time of the 1870 census but were not listed in the 1880 census: John BOND b. ca. 1825 in Ireland (apparently died between 1870 and 1880; looking for death record, cemetery record, etc) Julia BOND (daughter of John BOND listed above and Margaret McCarty) b. ca. 1856 in NY. (Looking for death record, cemetery record, or marriage record). Thanks. I'd appreciate any information anyone may have. Madelyn
Some people prefer all answers to be on the list, others prefer private conservations. If the subject line is filled out, the ones not interested in that subject can delete. I usually answer privately but often read each "question and answer" just in case! Judy in KY
