    2. William Bolinger
    3. Chuck, Here is my first e-mail message to you originally sent 8/11/97 along with a correction of date of birth of (John) Henry Bolinger. I have information on all four of the second generation, and info to the present on one, but I run into a brick wall when finding out about earlier generations. Family tradition says Germany for nativity of John Henry Bolinger, but that differs from early census data stating nativity of PA. Family tradition also says name was William Henry, same as William H. Bolinger, but the bible of William H., clearly spells full name of father as John Henry Bolinger. I hope we can find some connection. Regards, Bill Bolinger Charles, I am descendant of John Henry Bolinger and Susan Anna Wigman who were in Pittsburg, Pa. early 1800's. Moved to Maysville, Mason County, Ky., by 1818. Children named Charles, George, Frederick J., and William H. Bolinger. Several moved about 1865 to Sullivan County, Indiana. Do you see any connection between my John Henry Bolinger, known as Henry, born about 1770 possibly Lancaster County, Pa., with your line? Please advise. Thank you and regards, Bill Bolinger Correction and addition to my first EMail message. My John Henry Bolinger was born about 1758, not 1770, and I think the name of Susan Anna Wigman's father was Joachim Wigman of Lancaster County, Pa. I have heard but not verified that John Henry and Susan Anna were married in 1803 in Lancaster Co., Pa. The oldest of four known boys of this marriage was Charles H. Bolinger, born 1811 in Pittsburg, Pa., then Frederick J. born 1817, George W. born about 1819, and William H.(my line) born 24 July 1821 in Mason County, Ky. I have his family bible giving names and dates. ---------- From: Charles E. Bollinger <crybaby@twd.net> To: bolinger@gtii.com Subject: Joseph Bollinger Date: Thursday, August 21, 1997 7:13 AM Bill -- I saw the note from David Blocher this morning about our being sixth cousins. He would know, especially about the Bollingers who moved over into the Ohio - Illinois area, since they were intermarried with the Blochers. David has done a hugh amount of research. Take me back to your original inquiry as I don't think I have it on my active list in my computer. Chuck Bollinger
