    1. Bolinger in PA
    2. William Bolinger
    3. Bob, I was told yesterday by a woman in Wabash IN who has researched Bolinger/Bollinger in PA that there were 3 separate family lines in York County Pa before 1800. [1.] the Widow Bollinger who remarried to John Henry Lamott in 1749?, sons of the widow were Joseph and Henry. Family unit to USA about 1754, which rules out our Henry (John Henry) who was born either 1758 or 1759 per the Family Bible entry for his death in 1846. [2.] Henry Bollinger, wife Eva Dorothy Rudisill, children Andrew, Peter, Samuel, and Henry who married Rosie ? and had child Nicholas Bollinger b. c1780 Cocalico Twp., Lancaster Co., PA who married Margaret ? and moved to Crawford Co., Ohio, and [3.] Christian Bolinger b. c1693 Germany to USA c1737, two sons, Jacob Bolinger died 1777 York Co., PA , the other son may be Isaac Bolinger, died 1774 York Co with a son named Fredrick. This third line sounds the most promising of the three, but who knows. Another contact in California says her line is: Wm Henry Bolinger (supposedly from Germany to PA), wife Mary, son Frederick b. c1760/70 (maybe b. in PA), daus. Mary Ann and Barbara. She wonders if our John Henry could be a brother to her Frederick. Time will tell. There is also a Rudolph Bollinger family of Ephrata/Cocalico, Lancaster Co., PA. Keep in touch. Regards, Bill.
