    1. BOLEN/BOLDEN Family Bible Found, Iowa, Nebraska
    2. Hello, I found a large, very old, tattered bible for the Bolen/Bolden family of Iowa & Nebraska. It is in very poor condition with one cover missing, some pages torn and missing. It would be a treasure trove for someone who would appreciate it. If you can prove a connection, I will mail the Bible to you for the cost of postage, probably $10.00. James A Bolden m. Elizabeth Bolen d. 4/17/1876 There are two letters written by a woman. One is to her brother and sister, the other to her children. The letters were written from Bertrand, Nebraska. There is a letter, postmarked 10/9/1902 from George M. Bolen, County Treasurer Gosper County, Elwood, Nebraska written to his parents, T. J. Bolen, Clarinda, Iowa. Some of the handwriting is hard to read, so my interpretation may be off. I am not a Bolen/Bolden family member or researcher, and do not visit this site. Please contact me directly. Karen
