OBIT: RICHARD BOLEN Richard Bolen, 69, of Washington Court House, Ohio, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 in The Ohio State University Medical Center. Born June 15, 1944 in Plain City, he was a son of Lamar and Garnett V. (Seaman) Bolen. A truck driver for many years, Richard then owned and operated IVADA, a gas and oil production company and he had been a member of Aerie No. 950, FOE, London. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Brenda (Tope) Bolen; sons, Todd Bolen of Middleton and his family Natasha (Joe) Knece, Collette Bolen and Dominic Bolen and Tony (Lisa) Bolen of New Marshfield and his family; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Preston; brother, Ron Bolen of London. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and beloved pet, Lucas. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 at the Seton Apartments, 350 Cambridge Drive, London.
