Sandy, > >There is an author who lives in New Orleans who is researching the GA line >of the Boggs family. He just published a book on Huey P. Long. I can't >remember his name right now, but will look it up and send it to you. > >I think it is for a new book he is working on. > ATTENTION BOGGS FAMILY The researcher mentioned above is working on the Boggs family. I think those of you researching the Georgia line may well have more than he does. I met him with a friend of mine while purchasing her book for the library in Illinois where my grandmother, Clara Drusilla FINKLE BOGGS, was librarian for almost 30 years. He was promoting his new book on Huey Long at the same booth. He was very interested in my connecting with little other than my father's place of birth, date, and the name of the town where I thought he grew up. When I had her sign her book in memory of my grandmother, his ears picked up, and told me he was also working on the Boggs family of Mississippi and Georgia. I'm not positive, but it may be in relation to a book on Hale Boggs or his related family. I will post his address when it becomes available. I believe most of you have more information than he does. He is supposed to contact me soon. But I haven't heard from him since the conference a month ago. Later, Becky Rebecca (Becky) B.
