Don, I have a John Nathaniel "Than" Boggs b.Aug 1829 Greenbrier Co.WV.,s/o James R & Harriet (Walkup)Boggs. Not sure that John was his first name but my grandma talked about "Uncle Than" and she thought his first name was Nathaniel. He was married 3 times. With 1st wife Almira King he had a son named Marshall who was 9 months old in the 1860 census of Wirt Co.WV. Marshall marr. Hannah R.Hendershot 4 July 1886 in Wirt Co.WV. James R was s/o John & Susan(Drennen)Boggs. They all left Greenbrier Co. about 1830. If any of this rings a bell give me a yell. Please but patient if I'm slow in answering.
