It is fun to speculate about a possible Indian or Melungeon connection. Maybe some day new information will cleaer it all up. All I know is that my grandmother and her brothers are positive that we are Black Dutch. Grandmother says that she has always heard it that way. But what is a Black Dutch, she does not know.
