Boggs (b. ca. 1799 in Kentucky) He Married Panthea Grant Boone (2nd wife) and had 8 children from his two marriages, all born in Missouri: William M. Boggs, b. ca 1826 Albert G. Boggs, b. ca. 1830 John Boggs, b. ca. 1832 Theodore Boggs, b. ca. 1833 Minerva Boggs, b. ca. 1835 George W. Boggs, b. ca 1838 Sophia Boggs, b. ca. 1840 Joseph Oliver Boggs, b. ca. 1844 I am especially interested in locating information on the descendants of George W. Boggs, who married Alabama McMeans on October 17, 1865 in Sonoma, California. Their 5 children all born in California, were: Jessie Boggs, b. ca. 1866 Francis (Frank) W. Boggs, b. ca. 1870 Howard B. Boggs, b. ca. 1873 Florence Boggs, b. ca. 1875 Alexander Boggs, b. ca. 1878 I believe Florence Boggs never married. Francis W. Boggs was married ca. 1895 to Lillian Nelson (maiden name), an actress who was known professionally as May Hosmer [she may have been previously married to an actor with the surname of Hosmer]. Francis and Lillian had one son, Edwin Boggs, b. ca.. 1897 in California.
