Shirley, I have done some looking up in my data and according to Sadie Stidham's book "Pioneer families of Leslie County" Levi Boggs -b.1835 m.Elizabeth Calhoun- b.1833.They had a daughter named Rebecca Boggs-b.1860(this is my gggrandmother) ,they also had a son who was named Levi after his father.He doesn't have a birthdate with his name but looking at his bros. and sis. , it appears he was born anywhere from1855-?.Here's a run down of his family.I have a feeling the one you're looking for is the Levi JR.
