I am new to this list, I am a descendant of Hugh Boggs Sr. born 7 August 1781 and Elizabeth Bluebaugh. About 20 years ago when I started my quest, I became acquainted with Emory L. Hamilton of Lee Co. Va. He helped me so much that I could never explain. He died with lung cancer several years ago. He sent me a book entitled "Historical Sketches of Southwest Virginia" Publication no. 9 1975. There are two stories about Jacob Bluebaugh in this edition. I think that they might help someone.
