Ray, I appreciate your response. I, too, don't think that these two Benjamin F. Boggs are the same person. I think that my Benjamin F. Boggs is somehow related to either Joseph, William or Aaron Boggs who lived in York County, SC between 1790 and 1810. Does anyone have any information on these families? I have also found a Benjamin Boggs in the 1810 and 1820 NC Census, but it is unlikely that this man was my Benjamin's father since my Benjamin was supposely born about 1819 in SC.
