For Pspiker and those following this theme, the information I have is from an eclectic group of mostly unattested and sometimes contradictory family papers (welcome to the real world, eh?). I have Major John Boggs born May 10, 1775, married either 1799 or 1800 to Sarah McMicken (McMichen?) whose nickname may have been Sally or Sallie. Major John died February 3, 1861 in Pickaway County, Ohio. His father was Captain John Boggs, his mother Jane Irwin (?) Sarah McMicken was born in 1781, died 1851, father Benjamin, mother's name I don't have. They had 9 children. William 9/9/1801 Lemuel 5/27/1803 Jane 3/3/1804 John 5/6/1808 died 3/11/1884 Nancy 7/2/1810 Lydia 9/6/1812 Moses 8/27/1814 married 8/3/1841 (Margaret Cook) died 1865 James 3/2/1818 Sidney 11/2/1820 R. Scott Perry
