Hi Cousins! I need your help in locating my great, great grandfather's parents! My great, great grandfather was Benjamin F. Boggs. In the 1860 Census for Perry County, Alabama, he was shown to be living in the Brush Creek Beat with his wife Mary and their six children. He was 41 years old and was shown to have been born in SC. There were no other Boggs listed in this census for Perry County. I later found where he married Jane Martin in Dallas County (an adjoining county) in 1842. I also found a Josiah N. Boggs that died in Perry County in 1840-1841 who left minor children. However, I have not been able to establish a connection between the two.
