    3. Robert Cunningham has added 2 more pictures to the Boggs Family Album on Photopoint: 1. Richard Caines is the man after whom Caines Creek was named. He was the first white man who settled into that area of Eastern Kentucky. He is an ancestor of many Boggs, too. The marker is in the Griffith family cemetery on Caines Creek. The photo was provided by David Church in Ohio. 2. John O. Boggs was the father of Hugh Boggs and son of James L. Boggs. John, married to Nancy Wells, came to Lawrence County, Kentucky prior to his father's arrival. The marker is in the Nelse Rice Cemetery (sometimes called Gambill Rice Cemetery) in Martha, Kentucky, where many Boggs and extended family members are buried, including James L. Boggs. If anyone else has photos to add to the album, the scanned pictures can be sent to me as an email attachment - JPEG format seems to work best. There have been 3,563 hits on the album - what a great way to share our pictures with each other. This Photopoint album has been linked to the Ancient Faces website. Be sure to check it out too. It is a great resource. The URL for the Boggs page is: http://www.ancientfaces.com/cgi-bin/photos.cfm?surname=boggs&photos=yes Sharon McKenzie
