    1. [BOGGS-L] Looking for information on George Boggs

    3. Can anyone help me? I'm searchin for information on some of my Boggs ancestors. These are the known facts. George boggs Sr. born 2/2/1777 probably PA. died 4/21/1858. he married wife #1 ?, #2 Julia Wrenshall in Pittsburg, PA, #3 Margaret ?. George Boggs Jr. born 3/25 1799, married Mary Jane Page 9/2/1824 in Steubenville, Ohio. died 1/22/1844. We think that Frances Boggs was his father. Frances born 1/24/1742 in Scotland, married Jane Campbell 10/17/1766 in Scotland, died 2/8/1826 near Pittsburgh. Both Frances and his son William are listed in the DAR Patriot Index. William and George were in business together between Pittsburgh and Phildelphia. Any information would be appreciated.

    3. Dear Donald, You have the LUCK of The Irish. Your line in question is the same crew that Alice Carter Sturgis Grady (Ye Olde Editor-Publisher of the BNL) shares. I have a print out from Alice that I will attempt to scan and transmit to you. If this fails, I will Snail Mail it to you. This may move me top computerize the file.
