Dear Cousins. The Boggs reunion was held on Sept. 9th at a small Church on Caines Creek which is just outside Blaine, in Lawrence Co. Ky. Most there were descended from James L. Boggs who settled in that area. The reunion is held each year on the first Saturday after Labor day. This years reunion attracted about 60 cousins from as far away as Calif. and Colorado. Evelyn Ferguson was there from Colorado. Evelyn has more information than anyone I know about the East Ky. Boggs family. She spoke for about 20 min and was very enlightening. The food was great as always. We would like to see many more Boggs cousins attend next year. If you will keep my email address and get in touch with me next year I can give direction and accommodations information for anyone who would like to come.
