Hello, I live in Northern California and hear much about Gov. L W Boggs. In fact, I found many things written about the early Ca. Boggs families. However out of the many stacks of papers I could not find any connection to the NC Boggs families. My Boggs ancestors come from Chatam County, NC. Is there a connection between the NC Boggs and Gov. lw Boggs? Where was his family before KY? I am still looking for my Samuel Wilson Boggs. Where did his family come from? Thanks for your help.
