    3. I'm looking for information on John R. Boggs and Usley Ison who were supposedly married on March 21, 1853, in either Letcher County, KY, or Wise County, VA. I'm especially interested in any information about their son, Jesse Boggs, born ca. 1861. I believe he was the Jesse Boggs who married Elizabeth "Betsy" Caudill on September 26, 1880, in Letcher County, KY, and then Sarah Frazier on August 13, 1885, in Letcher County, KY, and then Mary E. Dingus on April 02, 1900, in Letcher County, KY. I believe Jesse eventually moved to Missouri where he died. Can anyone confirm this information and/or add to it? Thanks! Brian K.     3. Hi, I have that the John R.Boggs who married Ursley Ison was killed in the battle of Gettysburg and that Ursley remarried and went west with the family ending up in WA. I don't show any children for them. I too have him as a son of William and Anna (Johnson) Boggs.,and William as a son of John O.and Nancy (Wells) Boggs. The KY. Boggs aren't my line. This is just information I've collected. Most of what I have on the KY. Boggs came from this list. You might find more in the archives; at least the names of others who have posted messages about him. I'm convinced that somewhere in the past my WV. Boggs connect to the KY.
