I was perusing your PhotoPoint website and saw the Boggs pictures. While I'm not sure if I'm related, I saw a number of names that were familiar to me, especially the surnames "Johnson" and "Rose." The only Rose in my genealogy program is Eliz. Given Rose who married James Perry Boggs in Braxton County, WV. My gr-gr-grandfather was Johnson Warren Boggs. I am descended from Charles F. Boggs who was born in Chester Co., Pa. and moved to Braxton Co. when it was in VA. His son was James Clendenin Boggs, who had a son, James Anderson Boggs, who married Susan Cutlip. Their son Johnson Warren Boggs married Lydia Smith, and their daughter, Lucy Richmond Boggs, was my gr-grandmother. I have quite an extensive genealogy of my Boggs family and am finding cousins all the time. Would anyone on this list be looking for someone in my line, or should you have any more information, I would love to share. Lewis was an older brother of Matilda Lyons, who married James Henry (Jim Goins) Boggs. While not a Boggs himself, we think the picture is of interest because of his unique beard and the coarseness of their clothes. Lewis was born in 1831 and died in 1926.
