"Dolly" Boggs, 84, of North Manchester and formerly of Columbia City, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at Peabody Retirement Home. The Whitley County native was the former co-owner/operator of Boggs Service Station, assisted her husband with the Richland Township Trustees office from 1955 to 1963, and had also worked at the former Blue Bell. She was a member of Troy Presbyterian Church and a former member of Cardinal Chapter of Order of Eastern Star in Larwill. Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Kessie of Columbia City; a son, Paul C. Jr. of Fort Wayne; sisters Velma Felabom of North Manchester and Ethel Willette of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C., and six brothers. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, Columbia City, with calling from 2:30 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at South Whitley Cemetery. Memorials are to the church.
