Robert Cunningham has added a picture of Lewis Lyons, Jr. and his wife, Mary Sparks, to the Boggs Family Album on Photopoint. Lewis was an older brother of Matilda Lyons, who married James Henry (Jim Goins) Boggs. While not a Boggs himself, we think the picture is of interest because of his unique beard and the coarseness of their clothes. Lewis was born in 1831 and died in 1926. Is anyone out there familiar with a Jacqueline Boggs? She would have been born in California about 1907, and was the daughter of Lillian H. Boggs. Lillian was married to Francis Boggs, but they were separated and/or divorced by this time, and Francis was probably not the father of Jacqueline. However, Lillian continued to use the name Lillian H. Boggs and there is nothing to suggest that she remarried, so it is possible that Jacqueline used the Boggs family name.
