Edward, Lydia and Jacob Rose had a son named John ,b c. 1805. John Robert (Rose) Boggs, b Sept.28,1825 ,d July 1888 John Robert was not a Rose.Jacob Rose died Sept. 7,1814. Since James L.Boggs and Lydia Rose were living together when John Robert was born,it can be assumed that James L.was his father and that James L.and Lydia was not married.No one that I know has found a record of marriage for them,whichis the reason he was given the name,Rose. Lydia also had a son,Henry Rose,b in Green Co. Tenn.c.1819-1820,long after Jacob died. Henreys' father is assumed to be Henry Barger of Tenn.
