Hello all, I have two questions: 1) Is anyone researching Oliver Boggs, born @ 1811-1812 in Ireland and settling in Hamilton Township, Northumberland County, ON? His religion as of the 1871 census was church of England, Anglican. As of 1878 he was a farmer Concession A, 8 with Lot size 42. There are many Boggs in the Northumberland area. All are described as Irish, though 3 were born in Ontario.. The 1871 census includes: Name AGE Alexander Boggs 36 David Boggs 30 Edward Boggs 55 George Boggs 55 James Boggs 34 James Boggs 71 Laban Boggs 44 Margaret Boggs 54 Oliver J Boggs 32 Oliver Boggs 59 Robert Boggs 63 Thomas Boggs 42 William Boggs 27 I am trying to figure out if any of these are likely ancestors, and so far Oliver is my number one draft pick. 2) Still working on the mysterious 11 Boggs sisters.
