    1. [BOGGS-L] Apologies
    2. candlemaker
    3. I wish to apologize to the list for a Kentucky census map link that I sent a couple of days ago. This map had been sent to me from another genealogy mailing list and I thought it was most helpful for anyone doing KY research. Since sending the map I have been barred from two rootsweb mailing lists(not this one) and I meant no harm. If I offended anyone, please accept my apologies and I will refrain from sending such items to any lists from now on. Melva

    3. Dear Evelyn, I reviewed my data on Ezekiel Boggs &found no extensions for Jane Johnson or Eleanor Marquis. I need to look through the Boggs Newsletters of 1978-1987 for data that may be of some help. How much data do you have on Ezekiel & Jane? I would like to exchange data in a genealogy format with you. Is it possible that your entry "Clairsville, OH, is St. Clairsville, OH? 3. Suzanne, I dont know anything about Beulah Boggs or where she came from or her parents or siblings. My grandmother didnt tell me. Im sure she had siblings in those days most people did. Im not sure if my grandmothers maiden name was spelled Kile Or Kyle. I do know that Beulah Boggs married my granmothers father. His name was Elmer Kyle Or Kile. So if your Beulah married a Elmer It probably is the correct person {I hope so} I know they lived in South Dakota for awhile, dont know how long, but my grandmother Virginia Mae Kyle {Kile} was born in Pierre, SD Jan 28, 1932. Beulah Boggs and Elmer Kyle {Kile} had other children but I dont know the dates or places There other childrens names are Jim Kyle {Kile}, Ben Kyle {Kile} Floyd "{Kile}, Leonard Kyle {Kile}, Hazel Kyle {Kile}, Babe Kyle {Kile}. THe only birthdate I know is my grandmother Virginia Mae Kyle {Kile} who married Ainslee Foote. Hopefully you are connected. Beulah Boggs would be my great grandmother, my fathers mothers mother. 3. Lynda, I Have a Jesse Tyree Boggs, married to a Sarah/Sally Stewart. I have never been able to pin a first name on her. Jesse Tyree Boggs was a son to Able Boggs and Rebecca Maggard. I show him to be born in 1852, Ky. I have in my notes that this family moved to Chandler, Ok. Jesse Tyree Boggs was a brother to my great grandfather, Henry Clarence Boggs. This is all the information that I am able to supply you on this Jesse Boggs. If you find more information I would appreciate it very much if you would pass it on. But the age of your Jesse in the 1880 census and the birth date of my Jesse matches. I do realize that is only something to get my hopes up with. 1. [BOGGS-L] Henderson Boggs of Lawrence County, Kentucky 1861 - 1907
    2. Bob Gardner
    3. I am requesting any information on Henderson Boggs, born 1861 in Lawrence Co. Kentucky, son of James H. Boggs and Matilda Lyon. Married Sarah Blevins about 1882, found on the 1900 census for Lawrence Co. Ky. with Sarah and their seven surviving children. This family eventually moved to Ironton (Lawrence Co.) Ohio, and it is believed that Henderson died around 1907, though it is unclear where he died or where he is buried. Wife Sarah did not remarry, died in Ironton in 1928, though she never showed up on any census I can find for 1910 or 1920. Henderson was known by the name "Colonel". If anyone has any information on Henderson or Sarah after 1900, please let me know. Bob Gardner Goldsboro, NC
