    2. Not sure what I'm going to be getting myself into but .. here goes. Living in Salt Lake City, everyone here probably knows what that means and what certain building is here. LOL I would be glad to help out with requests for stuff from there. I can't promise the requests would be accomplished super fast with my work schedule and stuff. and, if it is going to involve a great deal of cost, then, of course, we'd have to do some negotiating ... but i'd be glad to help if I can. Like I said, dont know what kind of floodgate i'm opening.. but lets see what happens.. cuz i know from firsthand experience what its like being a distance away from valuable stuff ... Maybe starting out with "last resort" looks might be the way to go and then expand from there... Ray

I don't have all of the data concerning the children of that couple. You didn't mention any years, but the names are the same and I know a lot of the family moved to Lawrence Co. 3. The Special Census 1890 of Letcher Co. (http://webpages.metrolink.net/~bcaudill/kygenweb/1890_cen.htm) shows three BOGGS (two from Harlan Co.): Elijah BOGGS, Private, Co. F, Harlan Bn., 1863 - Dec., 1863 (3 months), Rheumatism. Letitia BOGGS, widow of John R. BOGGS. Levi BOGGS, Private, Co. F, Harlan Bn., 1863 - Dec., 1863 (3 months). The 1880 Letcher Census for BOGGS http://webpages.metrolink.net/~bcaudill/kygenweb/1880bndx.htm#BOGGS doesn't show a Rachel. Any idea how old she was when she got married? But, I did find a Jesse BOGGS living with a CAUDILL family. For any CAUDILL connection, e-mail the web page owner of the Letcher pages. He is a great guy and very helpful. Your Joseph and Barilla JONES sort of look familiar. Most of the JONESes from that area seem to trace back to the Rev. War Soldier Stephen JONES who died in Harlan Co., KY. I'd send the URL for the web pages for the Stephen JONES family, but the rootsweb.com web server seems to be down at the moment.
