I am new to this list, I am a descendant of Hugh Boggs Sr. born 7 August 1781 and Elizabeth Bluebaugh. About 20 years ago when I started my quest, I became acquainted with Emory L. Hamilton of Lee Co. Va. He helped me so much that I could never explain. He died with lung cancer several years ago. The Levi Boggs I am looking for is from Leslie Co. Ky. or a surrounding county. I have found other with a Levi Boggs but thier info doesn't match mine. I am guessing him to have been born about 1830 to 1850 time frame. I have him married to a Susie Causey and about 10 children including a Levi Jr., Becky, James, Steve, Lawerence, John, Mary Jane,Elizabeth, Tilda and Clarenda. Becky was my grandmother.
