    1. Re: [Boerner] BOERNER FAMILY IN OHIO

    3. My posting was in an effort to find any information about my paternal GGrandfather, Otto Carl Alexander Bahner (also listed as Bohner in some instances). He came from Baerenstein, Saxony, Germany. I have been unable to find information about his arrival, any other family members, etc., so I have been checking variations of the spelling of his last name. There are public records showing his marriage to Virginia Frances McClamroch on Nov. 27, 1878, in Greene County, Arkansas. I am sorry that I have no information about your Boerner ancestors; I am just checking every site which might be pronounced like my ancestor's surname. I am glad that you have been making progress in your search. Best wishes for your continuing search. Thanks for responding.
