My posting was in an effort to find any information about my paternal GGrandfather, Otto Carl Alexander Bahner (also listed as Bohner in some instances). He came from Baerenstein, Saxony, Germany. I have been unable to find information about his arrival, any other family members, etc., so I have been checking variations of the spelling of his last name. There are public records showing his marriage to Virginia Frances McClamroch on Nov. 27, 1878, in Greene County, Arkansas. I am sorry that I have no information about your Boerner ancestors; I am just checking every site which might be pronounced like my ancestor's surname. I am glad that you have been making progress in your search. Best wishes for your continuing search. Thanks for responding.
