My Grandfather referenced above fought in the Boer War and was injured in the rectum very early stages of the war. I have written everywhere to the different military in England, i.e. and have had no luck in finding him. He received a pension from the injury monthly. I have no military record of him. He was born in Australia and came to the United States in 1903, where he remained but did not get his citizenship or naturalization; returned to Australia in the 1930's and that is where he remained and died there.
