Hi, I am looking for someone who was wounded in the Boer war. Henry Cooper born 1872 in Petworth Sussex. On the 1891 Census he was known as Harry Cooper, single, age 19 in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry based at Pembroke. On the 1901 census he is an army pensioner, married, age of 29 years and now blind. I would like to know if he was sent to Egypt in 1882 and then to South Africa in 1899 his blindness was caused due to injuries sustained during the war and if this was the reason that he was pensioned. If you have access to the casualty rolls I would really like to her from you. Any help would be really appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Sheri Cooper
