Hi John, If this is your Robert then it may be useful to know that he was in no.4 company of the 3rd Greandiers, they led the attack on Grenadier Hill (formerly Middle Hill) at Belmont on the 23/11/99. 22 Grendiers were killed that day and 115 injured. I have further detail on the engagement if required. I can't find any other Robert Hughes in the 3rd....but he may have been in the 2nd.
