Hello, I had a gr-uncle who served in the Boer War as an engineer for Canada. Are there any websites, etc., where I may be able to find anything on him, please? He was in S. A. in C. 1899-1902/3. Thank you very much. Shannah
Hi Shannah I did some more searching without success. While there are a large number of SAC other rank files in South Africa they are not complete. If your gr-uncle was an officer the file may not be found as readily but there is a file on officers in the Archives in Pretoria. You would have to get somebody there to have a look for you. If you don't have a contact you will need a researcher. Try Audrey Portman at rhino.research@icon.co.za Jim ----- Original Message ----- From: "S.
