Thanks for the response from Jim Wallace. Jim, you refer to company's "A", "C" and "E" being where the Canadian's served. . My grandfather was from Scotland and his service number was E2865. Do you know if that means he would have been part of company "E" that served mainly in the Orange Free State? I tried to find you book "No colours, no drums: Canadians in the South African Constabulary" but could not find it locally.
