Phil I am not aware of any realtives in Berks, the majority of the Boer War era and earlier come from "the fens" - that area of Britain that includes Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Linconshire. Although it sound like alot of counties the villages concerned are only a few miles apart. Of the more recent generations I can mange Texas, Chicago, Spain, Liverpool, Hampshire, but most of us are in and around Northamptonshire.
