Dear Listers, A book which covers in great detail the siege and relief of Ladysmith is "Thank God We Kept The Flag Flying" by Kenneth Griffith. My copy was published in the US so I don't have the British publisher's details but the IBSN number is 0-670-69756-7. Another book which is of great interest is the Hall Handbook of the Anglo-Boer War by Darrell Hall and edited by Fransjohan Pretorius and Gilbert Torlage. Full of various facts and figures, it gives a brekdown of the number of casualties for each British regiment, which is ideal for the research I'm doing.
