Both my cousin and myself remember a photo of his Grandfather in uniform. Albert CLARK was born Liverpool March 1879 so would have been approx 23 when the Boer War was on. I realise that the uniform could have been the 1st World War but at approx 35 and well married with four children, I would have thought that he would have been one of the last to be called up. (I know that there was a rush to the colours at the beginning of the 1st World War my own father went aged 16 and perhaps this happened to Uncle Albert) If any list can assist in pointing me in the right direction to obtaining information I would be most grateful Doreen Ch.Ch.
