Back in the early days of the 20th century John Stirling wrote two books "The Colonials In South Africa" and "Imperial Forces in SA" I have certainly had the first one from the National Library John, and have an idea at the back of my mind that the other is there too. That should show some info. I also have the book of the "'96 rebellion" in Rhodesia and the 7th does feature there. Names of casualties are listed.
