Hello, My grandfather Arthur Dunning enlisted as a Trooper in Manchester on 21st february 1901 and was in the 21st Coy 2nd Battalion Imperial Yeomanry Cheshire Regiment. >From his Home service record is from 21.2.1901 to 14.3.01 South Africa from 15.03.01 to 27.8.02 Home from 28.08.02 to 3.9.02 this final date was his discharge in Aldershot. I wonder if anyone can tell me how I might find out what ships he went out to and returned from South Africa? Also is it possible to find out where in South Africa the 21st Coy served and if they were involved any action. Thank you.
