Hi again Carol - Schneider was in 1/4th (Hallamshire Territorial) Battalion York & Lancaster Regiment and was KIA in Flanders 9 October 1917. Born Doncaster. Enlisted Rotherham. He was aged 26 and was the son of Frederick & Elizabeth Schneider of 27 Rowms Lane, Swinton, Rotherham. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, Belgium.
