Hello all! Does anyone have any information relating to when the Royal Horse Artillery would have travelled to South Africa and where they would have served during the Boer War (1899-1902). My grandfather, John William Danskin, was a Sergeant at the end of the Second Boer War and had received four medals - although I don't know what they were or what they were for.
