the original SS Pinemore is indeed listed on http://www.theshipslist.com/ships/lines/johnston.htm (no photo) follow the link and you'll see it was renamed SS Oxonian and then scrapped 1928. Google says it's sailors received 17 gallantry medals when it rescued 25 sailors in 1920, then it hit a berg 21/5/1923. but can't see any images. Local press may have something for the events but it's not local to me. you may want to see if there is a mariners email group too.
