Hi there I am trying to find my grandfather's brother AMOS FREDERICK DAVIS b. May 01, 1875 and am thinking perhaps he went into the BOER WAR. I have searched the internet for him, the 1901 census in England and Canada, my CD's, asked descendants of his siblings about him and even had a researcher in England look for him but he seems to have disappeared. The last information on Amos was in 1891 he was a 16 year old chemist assistant who lived on the census at 2 Hedgley Street, Lee, Kent, England. In 1881 he lived at 3 Robertson Mews, Lee, Kent, England. thanks for reading this Judy in Canada
