Kemis, I also have both spellings in my ancestry. My easily Boat(w)right ancestry starts with Thomas Boat(w)right (1763-1833) who with his son Friend and granddaughter Elizabeth were part of the original Austin 300 settlers in Texas. I want to publicly acknowledge the terrific work on George Boatright and his terrific research and web site for Boat(w)right genealogy. http://www.boatwrightgenealogy.com/ If you are a Boat(w)right descendant, I encourage you to share your lineage with George so your family can be memorialized in his research. thanks, John Lisle Nashua, New Hampshire At 03:36 PM 3/15/2017, Kemis Massey wrote: >Hello all, > > >This is a quarterly roll call. My ancestors have used the spelling Boatright;" Julia Ann Boatright Carter is my grandmother. She is the descendant of one of the first settlers in Texas and documented as Stephen F. Austin's Old Three Hundred (http://www.sfaold300.org/). Sincerely, Mylinda Hutchings West (daughter of Martha Frances Carter, 2nd great-granddaughter of Julia Ann Boatright Carter) -----Original Message----- From: BOATRIGHT [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of John Lisle Sent: Friday, March 17, 2017 12:20 PM To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: [EXTERNAL] Re: [BOATRIGHT] [BOATWRIGHT] Roll Call Kemis, I also have both spellings in my ancestry.
