    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: birthapowlright70 Surnames: Boatwright Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.boatwright/317.7.1.2.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have been looking for the asylum and burial of Ruthie for years now. If she last lived in Okra, Ok then there are two possible places it could have been. There once was an Okra, Ok in McClain County near Rosedale, Ok. I've been there, but all that exist now is a road that is called Okra rd. The other Okra, Ok is suppose to have been around McAllister, Ok. I haven't been able to find exactly where that might have existed yet. I'm wondering if the Choctaws might have it on record where Ruthie was living and buried since they filed a record of her death which states Okra, Ok. In 1896 Ruthie applied for Choctaw citizenship. On the Choctaw roll (#4506) it is stamped cancelled in 1902 due her death, it showed she lived in Sans Bris county during 1896. The other big mystery is what ever happened to Elias. The last record I have for him is the 1870 census in Hopkins, Tx when he was 36 years old. Hopefully someone some where will come across the clues we need for these two people.
