My name is Brenda Jackson. My great grandmother was Mary Boatwright, she married Marion John Woods (Mann) I can not fine very much on her. Her mothers name was Mary Boatwright. My mother is 86. She remembers meeting her grandmother's sisters & brothers. But her grandmother herself died when her daddy's was 17. We have a picture of Georgeanna Boatwright, her brother Benjamin. I know they were Indian. Mary Boatwright was listed as "Mu" in 1870 or 1880 in the Escambia county Al census. If you know any thing about this could you help me out. About 3 weeks ago we meet Georgeanna's 95 year old great granddaughter Rosie. She didn't know any thing because she was small when her daddy died. Thank you. Hello Brenda....I found your email, I knew I had it. I looked over the names in your Boatwright (Boatright). I didn't see anyone familiar in mine. I have Leonard, Parsley, Porter, Boatright, that is about as far back as I have gone so far. Just starting the genealogy on my family lines. Once you first get started there lots to be found.
