I am very interested in further discussing the son of Thomas Boatwright and Amy Rushing, listed on your family site: xi. WILLIAM BOATRIGHT, b. 1814, Illinois; m. SARAH UNKNOWN, 1839. William is my direct line. I have been unable to locate his marriage date/place, or the maiden name of his wife, who you show as Sarah, and I know as Mary. She is listed as Mary in the MO census records. Perhaps her first name was Sarah and her middle name, Mary since their only 2 daughters were named Sarah (Jane) and Mary. Note: her name was listed in one census record as Mary A., for whatever that is worth. Would you be kind enough to let me know where you noticed her name listed as Sarah, and where you found the marriage date of 1839. I cannot determine if they married in TX or AR, but their first two children were born in AR. It appears that William and his wife may have lived in Cain Hill, Washington Co, Arkansas during the 1840 census. However, there is another [Boatwright, Edwin] head of household living in the same place at the same time in 1840, who I cannot locate in the Boatwright ancestry.
