Author: bettylok Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.boatwright/317.7.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: In rootsweb's WorldConnect Project under ancestors of April Wharton Makerny, I found a pedigree showing that Ann Brashears (the fourth, b abt 1793, d abt1820) married John Lyles (b abt 1790, d abt 1812). They had a daughter Susan Lyles, b abt 1812. Then Ann Brashears married Alexander Brashears (the first, b abt1789, d 9 apr 1868). There is a book in the Pittsburg county genealogy library showing the names of those Choctaws who migrated to the Indain territory between 1832 & 1834. In this book I found Allen Stanton, plus a number of the Brashears family who are listed in this pedigree. I hope this helps.
